Sensei Darren Horeman Head coach
I started practicing judo after watching my children train and fully immerse themselves in the sport in my 30’s (so it’s never to late to take it up!!). There is nothing I love more than passing on my knowledge and watching people thrive within the martial art and expanding our Judo family
Background
Darren Horeman brings over 15 years of Judo experience to Limitless, making him an exceptional leader for our Judo programme. A proud member of the British Judo Council (BJC) and a former BJC squad member, Darren has honed his skills through years of dedication and competition. His expertise extends beyond Judo, with additional training in Japanese Jiu-Jitsu, giving him a well-rounded approach to martial arts that enriches every session he teaches.
Certified in Fundamentals of Judo FPJ1 and FPJ2, Darren’s coaching style blends technical precision with a deep understanding of the sport. He is passionate about making Judo accessible and enjoyable for everyone, training students as young as 5 and as old as 80. Darren’s ability to adapt his teaching to the needs of his students, including those with autism, sets him apart as a coach who truly cares about each individual’s journey.
Safety and professionalism are at the core of Darren’s coaching philosophy. With full First Aid, DBS, and Safeguarding certifications, you can trust that every session is conducted in a safe and supportive environment. Whether you’re stepping onto the mats for the first time or looking to refine your skills, Darren’s wealth of experience and dedication to his craft make him an outstanding coach to guide you through your Judo journey.

Sensei Adam Stedmond coach
I’m a Judo coach with centuries of experience. If you need anything technical, I’m the person to go to! Even if it’s an uchi mata, I can help you through all the details to nail it in a fun way!

With over 32 years of experience in Judo, Adam Stedmond is a seasoned martial artist whose dedication to the sport has been unwavering since he began training at the age of 5. A proud BJC squad member and a 2nd Dan black belt since 2012, Adam has competed at the international level, showcasing his skills on some of the biggest stages. His years of commitment and success make him a highly respected figure in the Judo community.
Adam’s expertise goes beyond Judo, with extensive training in Jiu-Jitsu, bringing an additional layer of knowledge and versatility to his coaching. This multi-disciplinary approach allows him to teach not only the core techniques of Judo but also the strategic nuances that set advanced practitioners apart. Whether it’s refining throws, mastering groundwork, or developing a winning mindset, Adam’s teaching is rooted in precision and depth.

His wealth of experience, coupled with his passion for the sport, ensures that every session is both challenging and rewarding. Charlotte Horeman coach
I’m a Judo coach with over 15 years of experience, dedicated to teaching students of all ages and helping them progress through the sport. Putting passion into the sport is what I do, and I'm here to help with all aspects of Judo.
Background
Charlotte Horeman has been immersed in the world of Judo since the age of 5, building a strong foundation through years of training and competition. Her dedication to the sport has earned her numerous medals and trophies from events across the country, showcasing her talent and determination. After achieving her blue belt, Charlotte shifted her focus from competing to teaching, where she has found a true passion for sharing her knowledge and love for Judo with others.
As a fully qualified Judo instructor, Charlotte holds a Teaching Qualification in Judo, along with certifications in First Aid, Paediatric First Aid, DBS, and a Safeguarding Lead Certificate. She has played an integral role in running her club, working closely with her father, Darren Horeman, and Ken Flooks, the club’s founder. Her experience extends beyond Judo, as she seamlessly transitions from teaching preschool children during the day to coaching Judo students aged 5 and up in the evenings, creating a positive and inclusive environment for all.
Charlotte’s teaching philosophy centres on the life skills and discipline Judo instills, making it more than just a sport for her students. She takes pride in supporting young judoka from their very first white belt class, guiding them through their progressions and celebrating their achievements as they move through the ranks. With her approachable nature and genuine passion for the art, Charlotte is a key figure in fostering the growth and development of the next generation of Judo practitioners.
